Solution 1:

Using the same technique you used to display it inline you could try to load the PDF file using an Iframe:

    <head>
    </head>
    <body>
        <p>some content</p>
        <iframe src="/path/to/your/pdf/script.php"></iframe>
    </body>
</html>
